About Me

I am thrilled to be back at Lake Joy for my seventh-year teaching! I previously taught 4th grade at Lake Joy and then taught 1st and 2nd grade at David Perdue Primary. Teaching is my second career. Before I started teaching, I was a journalist.

I am originally from Charleston and the beach is my happy place. My husband and I are big Arkansas Razorbacks fans and we love ALL sports. In my spare time, I love reading, hanging out with my two daughters, lifting weights, and buying earrings.
