Library Media Center

Our mission is to develop lifelong readers and effective, innovative users of information.

Media Center Policies and Procedures

Our media center is open for all students each school day. Teachers bring their classess every other week to the media center for a lesson/activity and check-outs.

Students may come to the media center for book check-out, research and silent reading throughout the day with permission from their teacher. In addition, students will visit the media center weekly with their class.

Students may check out up to two books at a time. We do not charge fines for overdue books; however, students are unable to check out a new book until the late book is returned. If a book is damaged or lost, it must be paid for before check-out privileges resume. Reference books are reserved for use only in the media center in order to be readily accessible to students, teachers and staff members.
