Welcome to The Joy! My name is Jessica Smith. I began teaching in 2022. I am a product of Houston County, graduating from Veterans High School. I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Georgia and I also have my Masters degree in Teaching through Augusta University. I am currently working on my Specialist in Elementary Education.
My husband is a high school football coach, so most of our time is spent at the field during the fall. We have one son, Baker, and a German Shepherd, Marshall. When I'm not teaching or cheering on my husband's football team, I love to read, spend time with my family, and go to the beach!
