Welcome! My name is Ms. Youmans. This is my 13th year teaching and my fourth year teaching at Lake Joy Elementary School as a 3rd grade teacher. I previously lived and taught in Putnam County, Georgia. While there I worked as a Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher at Putnam County Primary School for 8 years. I also worked for a year as an Intervention Specialist for grades 3-5 at Washington Park Elementary in Monticello, Georgia. I am excited to be spending another year here at "The Joy"!
I was born in Warner Robins and raised in Macon. I have three beautiful children, Asher, Evie, and Stella and two dogs named Bootes and Princess.
I received my Bachelor's in Interrelated Special Education from Georgia College and State University and my Master's in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University. I am certified in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and Instructional Technology.
