Hi! I am Kristin Smith.  I began my teaching career in 1996 and have taught in the State of Georgia for 25 years! This is my 3rd year with Houston County Schools. I received my teaching degree from Valdosta State University and am dually certified in Elementary Education and Special Education.  In addition, I hold an endorsement in Gifted Education. When I am not at school I enjoy traveling with my family, watching the Atlanta Braves, attending concerts and musicals, and snuggling with my puppy Molly. I have been married to my husband Darien for 28 years and we have a son, Bryan (27), and a daughter, Sydney (24).
